Halloween, Relationships, Sex, OH MY!
Don't miss out on all that is possible for your love life during spooky season!
Halloween is not just a time for spooky costumes and candy. It’s a fantastic opportunity for couples to deepen their intimacy and connection. You’re not just making plans or choosing costumes. You’re working as a team, collaborating and communicating, which can strengthen your bond in a playful, easy way. This can help increase connection and lead to positive experiences and memories.
Halloween is a powerful opportunity to reignite your spark. It’s a time for you to do something different and novel. For many, novelty is exciting and sexy. Sometimes, it’s hard to get in the mood when you’re in the monotony of everyday life.
Take this opportunity to be creative together and explore new sides of each other. This can lead to a variety of conversations about preferences, desires, and even fantasies.
When you choose a costume, you choose a persona. Sure, you could wear it, but be yourself. Or, you could try getting into character and doing a little role-play. This can be fun and enlightening outside the bedroom, and it can be HOT inside it. Choose costumes that make you feel sexy! Or choose something that allows you to role-play an interesting character. Don’t take yourself too seriously and try to keep a curious mindset; have fun!
There’s no such thing as “too much” when it comes to Halloween, so go all out! Get out of your comfort zone with your partner and make some magical memories 🪄🧙♀️
My husband and I take advantage of Halloween every year. For us, it’s an opportunity for teamwork, fun, creativity, communication, playfulness, connection, novelty, and sensuality. We dress up in costumes and go to local Halloween events. We go to fall festivals, pumpkin patches, corn mazes, and haunted forests. We go outside to enjoy the changing leaves and autumn air. We enjoy cozy fall nights cuddling on the couch and watching scary movies.
We could ignore all the Fall has to offer and stick to our usual daily lives. We could go to work, come home tired, and scroll on our phones. But, even when we don’t feel like it, we push ourselves to make the most of the season because we know it matters. It feeds our relationship and could be a great way to feed yours, too!
So, if you’re curious, brainstorm some last-minute costume ideas if you don’t have yours yet. Then, come together and plan a spooky date night! Let the magic of Halloween work its wonders on your relationship!
